Our Houston studio, tucked in Old Town Spring, is a shadow-rich moody space designed to feel organic, textured, and atmospheric. Exposed brick and deep green walls pair with rich leather furnishings and warm, low lighting to create an intimate, layered feel, while natural wood floors bring in warmth and character. Filled with soft golden light and eclectic decor, Houston is perfect if you're drawn to dramatic shadow, and a more editorial, storytelling look. Located in the heart of Old Town Spring, the studio offers a charming small-town backdrop just north of Houston.

I left feeling completely empowered.
As the studio owner, I wanted to personally experience a session with Marissa before we welcomed her to the Idalia family. I've done multiple boudoir shoots before at my own NJ studios, and she delivered exactly what I was hoping for. This session was extra special for me because it was a celebration of a 50 lb weight loss, and I wanted images that reflected the confidence I've built along the way. The hair and makeup were gorgeous, and Marissa was so detailed with her posing that I felt guided every step of the way. I left feeling completely empowered. When my husband saw the images, his jaw dropped — the strength and beauty in every photo took his breath away. I'm so proud of what we created together.

Her editorial, emotive style and hands-on posing guidance ensure your images feel bold, empowering, and truly you.
